La Casa del Santero, built in 1753, was the home of the hermit who took care of the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception for many years. It is now a small café, designed in perfect harmony with its past.

Guests can use a terrace in the open-air courtyard of the giant Caliphate arch as they listen to the sound of water flowing from the fountain, in an incomparable setting.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. At check-in, a lovely staff member personally gave us a tour of the property, explained how everything worked, and even helped bring our luggage to our room. That level of care immediately set the tone for our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, full of historic charm, and thoughtfully maintained. We especially loved that our room featured portions of the original exposed brick walls, which added so much character and made the history of the building feel tangible. The amenities were extensive and well thought out, and the customer service throughout our stay was truly exceptional. The location was another huge advantage; everything we wanted to see and do was within easy walking distance. When it was time to leave, the outstanding service continued. The gentleman at the front desk kindly arranged a taxi for us and surprised us with a beautiful piece of artwork featuring the hotel, which is now a cherished keepsake that we’ll proudly display in our home. It’s rare to find a hotel that combines historic character, modern comforts, an unbeatable location, and such genuinely caring staff. This was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had, and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!
